Deb’s life journey has been one of many paths—always seeking to know God, in times of desperation clinging to the scripture verse, Jeremiah 29.11: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘for a future and a hope, not for destruction or despair.’” Deb’s search led her to attend and participate in ministries at many churches—Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal/Charasmatic, and mainstream non-denominational—but she is currently a member of an affirming Christian church, MCC of the Spirit.

Music became a passion for Deb in her teen years, although she struggled with severe stage fright and would get ill whenever she was scheduled to sing in front of people. Today, Deb has overcome this aspect of sharing her gift and has grown into the spiritual knowledge of the Holy Spirit residing in and through her.

Deb was the 4th of 5 children (and the first girl), and was raised to be a proper little lady—so it was a challenge to be true to herself regarding her homosexuality. She married a man in her early 20s and had two great kids over 10 years. Deb found her soul mate and life partner, Lisa, 20 years later. These two ladies now raise Deb’s children, along with their 2 dogs.

Deb has followed a career path in the property and casualty business insurance industry and has invested the last 14 years with Wells Fargo Insurance Services of Pennsylvania, Inc.

Deb’s heart is to be a vessel of hope. She is blessed to share this vision with her friends and ministers of music, David and Jason.
